Wilfred Sparkes is listed on the War memorial but I have  unable to identify this person.

 There was a Wilfred Sparkes, brother of Claude and Vincent, living in the village but he was born 14 April 1904. It seems unlikely therefore that this is the same person as he would have been only 14 years old at the end of the war.

Vincent lived in the village and served with the Norfolk Regiment but he does not appear on the memorial. I wonder if it should have been Vincent not Wilfred on the roll of honour.

If any one has any more information about Wilfred Sparkes I would welcome it.
