Syllabus of Training for Wednesday July 24th 1918 

6.00 a.m.       Reveille.

6.30 “       Sick Parade

7.00  “         Breakfast

9.30 p.m     First Post

10.00  “        Last Post

10.15 “       Lights Out

8.00  to 8.30 a.m.          Company Commanders’ Inspection

8.30  to 9.00  “              Manual of Arms.

9.00  to 10.00 “             P.T & B.F.

10.00  to 11.15”            Extended Order Drill.

11.15  to 12 noon          Musketry.

12.00  to 12.30 p.m.      At disposal of Company Commanders.

12.30  to 1.00   “           Close Order Drill.

 

H.Q. Sections

Signallers and Scouts:

8.00  to 8.30 a.m.         Inspection.

8.30  to 9.00   “            Manual of Arms.

9.00  to 9.30   “            Physical Training.

9.30  to 10.00 “            Close Order Drill.

10.00 to 12.30 p.m.      Specialists Training.

12.30 to  1.00    “          Ceremonial, Saluting, etc.

DRESS:      Fighting Order, Service Caps, Mess Tins on Haversacks.

BANDS:     Brass &  Bugle Bands will parade at 8.30 a.m. in Fighting Order.

GROUNDS:   Coys will locate grounds near billets for Coy Parades and notify  location to Bn. H.Q. Location of Bn. Parade ground to be advised later.

WALKING OUT DRESS:   Belts will be worn when walking out.

Men must not leave the village without a pass.

While in this area, Battalion must be in readiness to move in 12 hours notice.

PAY PARADES

1.30 to 3.00 p.m.    “A” Company

3.00 to 4.30 “          “B” Company

5.30 to 7.00 “          “C” Company

7.00 to 8.30   “          “D” Company

8.30 to 9.30 “               Headquarters.
